Eastcoast Cruisers
One of our favorite events is the CLASSIC CARS On Canal Street!! We enjoy spending the afternoon there with one of the cars or even just dropping by for a stroll down Canal St looking at all the amazing cars.
East Coast Cruisers Car Club brings a huge crowd of fun-lovin' car fans to Downtown New Smyrna Beach every second Saturday of the month 4-8 PM!!
This great gathering of almost every type of vintage, muscle, hot rod, and classic car, truck, and motorcycle is put on by the East Coast Cursers Car Club on the second Saturday of each month Canal Street in New Smyrna Beach.
A normal show is five to six hundred vehicles which are parked along the six blocks of Canal Street from U.S. 1 to the river which are closed to normal through traffic.
The show is from 4 to 8 PM but the cars start showing up by 2 as many want their favorite spots or an early bite to eat. All the shops and restaurants in this historic section of the town stay open for all to enjoy.
Live music and that by a DJ fill the air to go with the great smells of all the many types of food offered. It is free of course and the 1961 Corvette is almost always there among all the other great cars (Jason’s Corner Restaurant is the normal hang out for it) so stop by and say hi.
Art Of The Automobile
The Annual Art Of the Automobile - A Lifestyle Event, takes place along Beach Street at Riverfront Park in Daytona Beach.
Amelia Island: Concourse d’ Elegance
Simply put this is the East Coast version of Pebble Beach on the West Coast. The event is held at The Ritz Carlton Resort and Golf Club on Amelia Island (Fernandina Beach which is about 20 miles North of Jacksonville) on the second weekend of March each year.
On that Sunday the golfers are removed and a celebration of automobiles appears.
